How do I check what devices are plugged into my switch. Which commands can I use to get the mac addresses of the devices plugged in?

Hi,

The command is show mac-address-table

"sh mac-address-table" is the command, however, this will give you a very, very long list.

If you know a specific port, you can use the subcommand "sh mac-address-table interface ". Alternatively if you have the mac address and you want to know what port, you use the command "sh mac-address-table address ".

Hope this helps.
