LiveRecord on CUCM 7 / CUC compared to CUCME

Hello Team , I am able to create Live Record on CUCM with CUC , but it only works when user initiated conference to specific number.

Is there a way to create softkey/button [LiveRec] like we have in CUCME ?

1. Live record is supported only when Cisco Unity is integrated with a

Cisco Call Manager phone system

2. Live Record Does Not Work When Subscribers Have Full Mailboxes- When

a subscriber who has a full mailbox records a call, the feature seems to

work normally, but the recorded conversation is not stored as a message in

the subscriber mailbox.

3. Live record can only be initiated from an extension associated with

a subscriber.

To initiate a live-record session, users conference to an extension configured as call-forward-all on Cisco Unified Communications Manager or Cisco Unified CME and is setup to forward all incoming calls to the voice mail pilot number.

Thanks for repeating documentation , but my question was : "Is it possible to move this function to button ?"

It's not convenient for user to press [Conference] than dial number , especially if user migrated from CUCME , where they can do that with one click to [LiveRec].

I checked this at my end,

There is not one touch button conference button

feature available to start live record nor you can program one the key.

So far, I know this procedure,

conf t

telelphony-service

no live-record 405

live-record 401 <<< to match live-record pilot-number configured on

CUE

no create cnf

create cnf

exit

ephone-dn 20

number 401

call-forward all 404

*To use Live Record: *

1. Initiate a conference to the Cisco Unity Express live-record pilot

number. Press the conference softkey button. The current conversation is

paused (Live Record can only be initiated by the CUE subscriber, since

the recording will be sent to the subscriber mailbox as a new VM) .

2. Dial the live-record pilot extension number.

3. The live-record pilot extension forwards the call request to the

voice mail pilot number.

4. Cisco Unity Express answers the incoming call, detects the

live-record pilot extension, and begins recording if the call referrer

is a valid Cisco Unity Express subscriber.

5. Complete the conference.
