Router username

Dear all,

I want to create multiple usernames on same router with different privilages, sothat, some of them can only monitor without editing router configuration and other usernames can edit configuration.

And if i creat username, so, i can cancel VTY passowrd,

Have a look at the use of role base access control

or simply work with priviledge levels of access per usernames

under your vty you will need to add login local once you have created users

e.i

level 5 can issue show commands exept for show run or show start, no exec changes allowed.

username privilege 5 password

line vty 0 4

login local

line vty 5 15

login local
