LMS 2.6-automatic add of devices plus default creds?

I have activated an option (I think its in a config file) per Jclarke's advice that auto-adds all new manageable devices to DCR, I think through CDP as they come up.

This has worked exactly as advertised and eases the need to manually add new devices. The 2nd part of that solution would be to somehow config default creds to use so that the device can be archived in RME, etc. Right now it adds the device, populates the SNMP field but the log-on creds are empty. Is there an option for this?

You need to upgrade to LMS 3.0 or higher. Default credentials were not added until then. LMS 3.2 offers an enhanced feature which lets you create multiple default credential sets, and apply them to devices based on configurable rules.

Thanks Joe. We are hoping to get this upgrade soon. LMS 2.6 is no longer being updated at all, is that correct?
