Ciscoworks working over two IPs/NICs

Our ciscoworks server is a multi homed server. The reason being is because it has to two on different networks because of internet access issues. The problem we are facing is that, for some reason, ciscoworks is pushing SNMP commands over the 172(internet access) network instead of the 192(management network. Is there a way to tell ciscoworks to not do any work over the 172 network?

CiscoWorks uses the server's routing table to decide on which interface to encapsulate packets. Make sure the route to the device to be managed is known on the correct interface.

It seems as if I have forgotten to put the swicth in our DNS here. Once it was added to the DNS it managed to push everything out the 192 network.

Thank you
