Problems to configure SMTP server on LMS v.3.1

Hello,

I want to configure S]MTP server on LMS v3.1 but it doesn't recognize my domain's name. An error shows up saying "Invalid IP Address or server name for mail server. Please enter a valid SMTP server name or leave the 'SMTP server' field blank".

Could someone help me to solve this issue??

Can you post a screenshot?

And another one that shows what you are typing in the fields before the error message?

Make sure you dont have a firewall blocking smtp port. You can for example from the LMS server CLI, telnet 25

Finally, after you made sure the port is open, post regdaemon.xml
