2960G Switch is not able to reload

Dear All,

Recently i have observed that one of my network Switch is not able to reload automatically. Whenever i try to fire RELOAD command it showing following error

Switch#reload

%ERROR: Not able to process Signature in flash:.

%ERROR: Aborting reload.

So kindly help me on this

Try to disable file verity auto:

Switch(config)#no file verify auto

now it able to reload automatically but once it accept reload command again it move in

Switch: mode and again i need to assign the path of the flash to reload.

What is the switch showing you with:

show boot

Do you have the boot path manually configured in the config file with boot system flash:path_to_image?

You can also verify what's in flash with:

show flash

I had same problem on 2960X stack of 2. I confirmed image was good with:

verify /md5 flash2:/IMAGE.bin

config:

no file verify auto

worked. Image loaded fine on second unit in stack

What IOS is this? I've never seen this behaviour before.
