UCM 7.x LDAP integration

Is there any way to manually purge inactive user accounts in UCUM 7.1.2? I changed my AD integration and still have duplicate accounts for many of the users showing up in the corporate directory on the phone and in the users page in the CallManager. I want to delete these records prior to the timeout period. It has been far more then 24 hours since making this change.

Thanks!

No, the garbage collection process runs at 3:15 AM and you cannot modify this.

Depending on what time you did this, it can take up to 48 hours

I have the same issue and cannot remove the Inactive accounts.  It's been close to three weeks, so there must be something wrong with the garbage collection.  I've even rebooted the server, but no luck.

Bummer.

Do you see the user in "inactive" state?  If the user you want to remove was still in "active" state, the problem is in synchronization instead of garbage collection.

Yes, about half of the directory is in the Inactive state.  They have been for a long time now.  They just don't seem to want to go away.

When was the last successful sync?

Michael

Oooh, you just gave me an idea.  I have it set to update every night.  I wonder if that is resetting the Inactive timeout?  I just set it to update every week, so we'll see if that helps.

Thanx

No, update every night will not reset garbage collection time.

If it was successfully synced every night while the inactive users stuck in the system, there must be a problem.  Could you upload the DirSync logs (better in detailed level).

Michael

Sync was successful, but the tracing was not turned on.  I've changed the logs to debug level and will grab the traces on the next sync.

Thanx.

Rebooting seems to have been the trick.  Last night the garbage collection finally worked.

Thanx for the suggestions.
