Not using the system config collection job. It will attempt to archive the config for every managed device. However, you could disable this job, and instead configure a Sync Archive job using the Group Selector. When you create this job, select the Group Selector radio button above the device selector, then choose the groups you wish to archive. As new devices are added, they will automatically be included so long as they fall into the selected group(s).
