SNMP and Syslog questions

Hi guys,

Is there any way to allow some users/stations to retrieve only specific MIB objects on Cisco routers, something like AAA authorization for Cisco IOS commands? And my second question is about syslog messages - I'm wondering if I can get a Cisco router to send only specific syslog messages (that i'm interested in) to the syslog server. I know it's possible on an ASA, but can a Cisco router do the same?

Edit: Ok. Looks like I've found the answer to my first question, still looking an answer for the second one...

Yes, it is. You can use the Embedded Syslog Manager to filter syslog messages at the device. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/netmgmt/configuration/guide/nm_esm_syslog.html for more details.
