CFA on an Overlay utilised DN doesn't work

Lucky19th

I have a setup with 2 receptionists where both phones rings at the same time and whoever is free takes the call.

I set this up by creating 2 ephone-dn's with the same Reception DID number. And configured the receptionists on one of their buttons with an overlay of the 2 dns. (The other button is their own number).

However, we can't get the reception number (say 9901) to CFA to a 3rd number/VM if required.

What can I do to rectify this. Have I got something wrong here or at least achieve the above functionality.

Thanks in advance.

Config is

ephone-dn 1 dual-line

number 9901

ephone-dn 54 dual-line

number 9901

phone 1

mac-address 0017.5987.8BA4

type 7940

button 1o1,54 2:37

ephone 47

mac-address 001E.138C.840C

type 7940

button 1o1,54 2:47

p.s. CCME ver 3.3

You also need "huntstop channel" under DN 1.

Otherwise, when a 2nd call comes int, will be present only to the phone that has the 1st call.

And, you should consider using "c" instead of "o" in case they want audible call-waiting.

Change 9901 to like 9902.

under dn 1, configure CFB 9902, huntstop channel.

You should then be able to CFA DN 1.

I would personally swap the buttons, so that when they make internal calls their own number is presented by virtual of line auto-select.

Note, upgrade CME when you have ha chances. It does a lot more and much better that what you have.

Hello p.bevilacqua. Thanks for the quick reply.

Do you mean like below?

ephone-dn 1 dual-line

number 9901

call-forward busy 9902

ephone-dn 54 dual-line

number 9902

phone 1

mac-address 0017.5987.8BA4

type 7940

button 1o1,54 2:37

ephone 47

mac-address 001E.138C.840C

type 7940

button 1o1,54 2:47

You also need "huntstop channel" under DN 1.
