ACE modul versus firewall modul to Cat 6500.

Hi all,

pls. could someone help me what diference is between ACE and firewall modul to Cat6500 or ASA firewall.

I know that with ACE we can do load balancing and virtualization and use some firewall features. So question is do we need both modules?

The FWSM does not do load balancing.

If you need both firewalling and protection and load balancing then you will probably need both.
