I have 24 CISCO PVC2300.

I've 2 questions:

1) I want to know it these cameras can record continuosly themselves on a NAS.

2) There is a software to record simultaneously record all 24 cameras?

Sorry for my English :)

Hello Fabio,

The PVC300 has a samba client and can record by themselves to a NAS or shared drive.

The PVC2300 does not have a samba client and must use the free Surveillance monitoring  utility or commercially available software such as NUUO or Milestone.

I like to load the surveillance monitoring software into my NAS unit and run it from a NAS unit.  I do this because when i run the surveillance utility it defaults to it's local drive as a place to store the video content.

regards Dave

In the Milestone Xprotect software, there isn't the possibility to select the PVC2300.

Does anyone know tell me how to set it correctly?

I don't believe Milestone supports our cameras.

In the latest camera FW, there is now a Samba/CIFS client to do this recording direct to an NSS file share on the PVC2300 and WVC2300. I believe is the version.
