is it advisable to use radio A for voice and G for data traffic? will the AP be able to handle both voice and data traffic at the same time when voice is on A and data is on G? how many data and voice users can the AP handle given this situation

Generally the a radio spectrum is less congested, ie less interferers than the g raio spectrum. Th number of cients is a $64000 question
In general the number of data clients should not exceed 20-25 for voice its very different.
In g environment this is a max of 14 for a its 20 but it still depends on factors such as codec, environment, security and intereferers. If you run a mixed b/g environment there will be approximately the same number of calls as a standard b environment of 7

You can get up to 27 RTP streams per AP/channel when using 24 Mbps or higher.
At 6 Mbps is around 13 RTP streams.
Typically would want to design a cell to handle around 20 simultaneous streams, which is 12 Mbps.

If you plan to leverage 802.11n in the future, you will have data and voip on 5Ghz.
I would suggest A. Not just for VoIP but you may want to leverage 802.11n in the future. So, a properly designed 802.11a voip network makes for a sick 802.11n on 5GHz network. :)
Also the density on A, again properly designed will give you good density on 802.11g side.
