Converted Aironet 1242 DHCP problem

Hi there

I converted a few Cisco Aironet 1242 AP's form autonomous to LWAPP. Conversion proces is ok, i can see that the ap connects to the controller (upgrading image) and then reboots. After that, nothing there. I consoled the AP and this is the message:

Not Sending discovery request AP does not have an ip !

The ap is not getting an dhcp ip address. When connecting my laptop to the network patch, my laptop is receiving an ip addess in the correct scope.. What can this be ?

Regards

Hi There

I presume that the other LWAPP AP's are working without any issues here and that the necessary VLAN, DHCP Option 43 and Code 241 (Windows DHCP) have been configured.

Did the AP have a DHCP or statically assigned IP before the conversion?

Did you change vlans from your autonomous APs to LWAPP?
