I think you need to make some distinctions as to what your company requirements and long term goals are then consider the options. TelePresence is not the same as video conferencing and adding video to the network can be anything from supporting streaming web video to a CEO's live broadcast. Each one of these things has a specific purpose and needs to be addressed differently both in the necessary components as well as the way the infrastructure is configured. If your goal is to have remote face to face HD meetings then Cisco TelePresence is the best solution. While Cisco does support interopability with SD and soon to be HD video conferencing units in my opinion the overall experience will not match true Cisco TelePresence to Cisco TelePresence meetings.
