DMVPN_ is it possible to have dynamic public IP address at the HUB

Hi Experts,

i have 5 sites with ADSL internet connectivity with dynamic IP addressign, is it possible to connect those sites without need to have public static address at Hub ( HO) .. no way to get static public IP address from that ISP.. so i dunno whats the solutions?

does DMVPN support that? whats devices you recommend..

please help :(

It would be an administrative nightmare. Every time your Hub IP changes, you'll have to go into each spoke and change it. Do-able but not advisable.

If you could get the isp to map your routers mac to an ip, you could get the same address every time via dhcp.

How about running something at the hub that registers with dyndns (www.dyndns.org) and use the dyndns registered name instead of the ip address in the spoke routers. I haven't tried it myself but it's worth investigating. The spokes are going to need some way of finding the hub.
