Can you tell me if you think this is a well rounded lab setup for CCNP. I think it covers all bases;) Well i hope;)

3550 Enh. (L3) - Layer 3 switch

2950 std. image - layer 2 switch

2950 Enh. Image - Layer 2 switch

2610xm wic 2t

1721 wic 2t x2

Its a 4 router 3 three switch approach, all supporting 12.4.

Do you think this will be enough to cover the CCNP labs?

Many Thanks,

I have this problem too.

i just brought some Cisco switchs/routers

2x 3550'sEMI=$300 each

2x 2610xm's= 250 Each

2 x 3640's =200 each

so but another 3550 and as many 2610XM's as you can. that should get you started.

I got the 3640's to support MPLS, but they wont run advanced IP services 12.4T IOS

2610xm's or better.

also the 2610xm supports MPLS;) its not actually stated but it does as of 12.3;))

2x 2610xm advanced ip services, ad sec. mpls support

2x1721 IP/FW/IDS/ Plus IPSEC 3DES

2x3550 enhanced image- L3 support

2x2950 enhanced image

What do you think of this?

Just managed to get 4 2621xm's for 100 pounds each with wic-2t and a isdn interface. the 2621xm also has two fast ethernet ports;))))))))
