Translation rules setting

Hi all,

I am fresh in translation rules. Anyone know what problem the following is. The translate rule seems not working.

-----------------------

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /144*/ /202449144/

!

voice translation-profile CML

translate calling 1

!

dial-peer voice 888889 voip

destination-pattern 144.

translation-profile outgoing CML

---------------------------------

Thanks a lot

Regards

Leung Che Man

Hi,

Please post the number that is being dialled by the caller, the number you want this to be translated to and the output that the translation rule is currently giving.

(You can test the translation rule using test voice translation-rule 1 ?????).

Hi

I dial '1445' but it cannot be translated.

2157 ORG T0 g729br8 VOIP P1445 0.0.0.0:0 D1

2156 ANS T0 None TELE P8827 D10

-------------------------

nshk-cme#test voice translation-rule 1 1445

Matched with rule 1

Original number: 1445 Translated number: 2024491445

Original number type: none Translated number type: none

Original number plan: none Translated number plan: none

nshk-cme#

From the output of the test command number looks like it is being translated ok.

Can whatever system the dial-peer voice 888889 voip points to provide any debugs?

Hi,

I change the 'translate calling' to 'translate called' then I can dial 1445 and reach 2024491445.

------------------------------

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /^144/ /202449144/

!

!

voice translation-profile CML

translate called 1

!

dial-peer voice 888889 voip

translation-profile outgoing CML

destination-pattern 144.

Thanks a lot
