Does BLKR have trial period prior to activation the subscription?

Some of the partners are asking what if the end user wants to try the BLKR for 15 or 30 days? Does the subscription for antispam and antivirus starts to count from the day when BLKR is connected in the end user infrastructure or there is a trial period prior to activation the subscription? I know that one solution is NFR, but in this case they do not want NFR and the partner wants to take the BLKR, connect it at the end user and if he likes it after 15-30 days only to charge him for the BLKR and not replacing it with another that isn’t NFR. And if they do not like it, is it possible to sell the box as it was new?(with full time subscription)

Thank you in advance,

As of right now you would need to work with Cisco Small Business Support on a case by case bases and have the keys regenerated for each device that you register and not sale. It would not be a over night processes but keys can be regenerated on a per case bases. Hopes this helps.

Hi, the csvb comes with a 30 day trial period for anti-spam & anti-virus. The timer for 30 days begins counting down from the moment the installer accepts the terms & conditions of the EULA.

New temporary or permanent keys can be installed by the CSVB remotely via the web. Assuming the customer likes the csvb is will stay on-site and new full term keys for 1,3 or 5 years will be downloaded by the CSVB on receipt of a valid order.

Cheers

Jason
