Output errors on Ethernet interface

Good day,

I am seeing ouput errors on a half duplex interface facing a comtrend modem.

What could be causing this? I'm not seeing any other errors besides collisions which are normal for half duplex.

Which output errors? Send the complete show interface.

Ethernet1 is up, line protocol is up

That should be "excessive collisions", check "show controllers ethernet 1".
