Hello All
I'd was wondering if it is possible to view an phone's (7970) call history remotely. Of particular concern is the Missed Calls. Thanks in advance,
Lazy Admin
P.s. we're using Call Manager 4.2(3) for what it's worth.

Hi Kelly,
Sadly not :( We have had this question come up in the past as well. The Call History info is only available from the IP Phone itself.
Cheers!

One way to do this would be to use Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator which is a product that integrates smartphones with Cisco IPT. The following phones are supported:
⢠Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS
⢠BlackBerry OS (most models except for touch devices)
⢠Nokia N series and E series (most models)
⢠Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 Standard Edition
One of the features offered by Mobile Communicator is access to call logs.
It would be a pretty expensive way of resolving this issue though as it needs a dedicated server on the internal network and an ASA security appliance to act as a proxy.
To get the best from it you would also need a more recent version of Callmanager and ideally Presence. More details here:
