I have a customer who would like to accomplish the following:
Person can call into the UC500 and leave a message in an On Call Emergency Mailbox.
UC 500 takes that messages and tries to notify the on call cell phone 3 seperate times in 10 minute intervals.
If no one listens to the message it is then escalated to a second cell phone, and finally to a third cell phone (the big boss).
I can currently get three notifications done, 1 instantly after the message is left by using the mailbox notification settings. Then an additional two notifications using the cascading notifications. However for some reason there is a limit of only 2 cascaded notifications. Is there any way around this limitation? I've tried GUI and CLI...
If there is no way around this, can anyone think of some other creative way to get these notifications handled in the above specificied manner?
The cascading message notification feature allows you to leave a message in a user A's mailbox and depending on his profile, the message notification can be send to the devices associated with his profile. If the message has not been checked for x minutes, it can then be forwarded to a users defined under his profile. If his profile has user B and C, then after expiry of X timer, the notifications can be send to B's list of devices and after another Y timer expires, it can be sent to user C's list of devices.
A, B and C should be 3 different subscribers in CUE. This is currently not supported through CCA and needs to be configured through CLI.
