Dear All,

We are using BGP (MPLS) for all the Branches. Several branches links were down; also we have Backup for all the Branches. When Links were down at the time Backup also not coming UP. Branches were totally isolated. After Restored the links I checked the BGP Status on one of the Branch

Neighbor V AS MsgRcvd MsgSent TblVer InQ OutQ Up/Down State/PfxR

10.xx.xx.xx 4 9829 1494835 173642 4 0 0 1d05h 0

By seeing Summary BGP was Not Fluctuvated.not only this Branch I checked all the Branches which are down .there also BGP was not Flapping. How it's Possible and what could be a reason.

hi,

as per the provided output of sh ip bg sum,

you can see that at last digit of the summary i.e. 0 means you are not receiving any prefixes at your branches.

pls confirm that, is this true?

thanks and regards,

sourabh

Hi,

Prefix list has been configured in Branch Routers that's why it's not receiving.
