Which SFP Module for WS-C3750G-12S switch to enable port for 100MB copper

Which SFP module should I use for my WS-C3750G-12S switch so I can connect a LES100 (100MB)link to the switch. The LES100 link is presented on an RJ45 cable. The WS-C3750G-12S switch has no RJ45 ports.

The LES100 link is over 500 meters.

Many Thanks

Assuming I'm not mistaken, I believe the SFP ports only support gig (including copper).

That's what I thought but have just been informed by BT that it will run at 100MB.

Darren,

You will need a GLC-T for copper connection, which is what you need for RJ45.

This is what's shown here:

"Full-duplex, 100Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 10/100/1000BaseTX SFP"

Edit: See this link - I hope it's not a Cisco Parner only link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps5455/products_device_support_tables_list.html

HTH

Thank you for the correction.

To confirm what Ingolf notes, found this in the data sheet (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps5023/product_data_sheet0900aecd80371991.html): "GLC-T=

GE SFP, RJ-45 connector, 10/100/1000BASE-T transceiver"
