Downloading Feature Keys - not available before trial period is over?

I have a partner who has just installed the Cisco Spam Blocker - with the 30 day trial period, and the question relates to the fact that the Feature Keys won't download it seems..


From the System Status picture it shows that the feature keys has not been downloaded - the feature keys picture shows however a somewhat strange text "Success – No new feature keys are available" after pressing the "Check for new Keys". The Spam Blocker has been set to install feature keys automatically.


Should we expect the availability of feature key before or after the end of the 30 day trialperiod?

Once the Blocker has Register and the Keys are passed down the Time Remaining will show 1056 (3 Years)



If the Keys are not registered after a few days after running the Setup Wizard there are a few things to check. Telnet to the Blocker and try to ping downloads.ironport.com, if unsuccessful the customer will need to check his network settings and make sure that the blocker is able to access the internet on port 80 and 443 is open as well.


If the Customer network settings are correct and his keys do not register you will need to contact Cisco Small Business SUpport Center to open a case. Hope THis helps
