Hi all - this should be a quick one but my layer 8 head can't get round it.

When I want SSH V2 to be my only Transport method of logging onto a router/Switch then SNMP stops working .

What have I forgotten ?

Please help

Thanks

I don't understand what you're asking. You haven't provided information on what you've currently done, so I can't say what you've forgotten. But, if you're asking how to limit connectivity to SSHv2 only, then configure:

ip ssh version 2

line vty 0 15

transport input ssh

SSH works fine - the problem is that with SSH in use ("Transport input ssh") that SNMP Traps no longer work.....got something to do with the COP plane Iguess.....

What SNMP traps are not working exactly?
