CDR: how can we pull out the older CDR using FTP

Hi,

We are having a CCM 6.1 system, CDR service activated starting from date Jan 1st 2009. Now recently we have installed a Call Billing software(Proteus). The software reads the CDR raw data from a directory in the local machine.


For the CDR to be loaded to a directory in the call billing server I am running an FTP in the billing server and I have configured the callmanager to load all CDR raw data to this particular Server using FTP.

This is hwo I have configured the CCM

From the Serviceablity page:

Tools---> CDR Management---->

Host Name / IP Address* = 10.34.72.231

user name: cisco

pssword: cisco

protocol: SFTP

Directory Path: /


Now the CDR is being loaded into the Directory in the Billing server. But the problem is that, it only loading the CDR data from the day I created the FTP path that is 19/0ct/09. All the data beginnning from Jan 09 to this date is missing in the bill being generated.

Is there any way that we can pull out the previous data from the CCM, to the Directory in the billing server.

If you're not familiar with CLI, you may use RTMT (Realtime Monitoring Tool) to download CDR files.

That's WAD, it's the same as CDR. Starts logging from the moment you enable it, anything before is not logged.


There is no config on billing servers to do this, the only way would be to get the flat files via CLI, but i doubt you'll get info from January this way, CDR processed files are only stored 30 days in the server if i recall correctly.
