pix local database password displayed in clear text

I've got a Pix 515-e running 6.3(5) code. I created a local username and password on it, but the "real" password shows in the config. I was expecting to see a hash like in every other firewall I have done this on. Is there an option I don't know about to make it show the actual password? The only thing I can think of is that a show version shows that only VPN-DES is enabled, whereas I usually see VPN-3DES also enabled? is there any relationship between this licensing and the inability of the pix to show the hash output in the "show run" instead of the actual password?

Hi,

You can enter the user like this:

username pat password rvEdRh0xPC8bel7s encrypted

The only time you would actually enter the encrypted keyword at the CLI is if you are cutting and pasting a configuration to another security appliance and you are using the same password.
