Sounds like you are seeing packets being duplicated. Any chance you can confirm with a packet capture spanning the AP whether or not you are truely getting duplicate packets?

will check to capture and analyze. This srror comes in test bed lan which WLC and LAP are connected even in the same lan. Can any one expalin what is the meaning of the log. 192.168.2.4 is the controller ip. there is no AP-Manager in 5508WLC.

i have the same problem. WLC 5508 and AP 1522 are in the same VLAN, DHCP has option 43, everything looks good but AP want register. on WLC i have these debug logs on event and error (log in attach).

hi again, i solved my problem by changing country code on WLC to be the same country code as AP. I assume that AP was produced in Germany (i recived it from Germany). Ap registerd instantly, then i tried to change country code to my country but AP didnt want to register again. So this is a problem and i think i will open TAC.

Hi,

Remmber that when working with access points we should be getting the model that works in the country you are deploying the wireless since there are different options of each model of access point to comply with the fcc regulations, etc for each country .

Now if the access point you have is for USA and the wlc is set for Germany, the ap will not join the wlc until you set the country for USA, but tis is not the corect path to take since you should get the access points for Germany instead of USA.

Under the ordering guide of each ap you will see the exact part number for each ap and for what regulatroy domain it complys with.

Hi,

this was a log time ago but let me respond to this. I'm from Croatia and i had the country set to Croatia on the WLC but the AP was Germany. I haven't tried this lately, now when i have a new installation i put the country code on Germany and have no problem (although it should be Croatia).

Hi, If the WLC is in Croatia then you need to have enable on the WLC the country code for Croatia and get APs that are complinat with the regulations on Croatia.

Croatia should be with in the ETSI regulation and the correct part number of the AP would be AIR-BR1310G-E-K9 (EMEA regulatory domain)
