this error happens with a default config, I tested in our lab.  Anyone doing NAT from CCA2.1?

updated pic also, maybe more clear... also attached.  I can delete the Firewall settings, delete the NAT settings.  Create a vlan, try to use NAT and BOOM, error

Error saving basic NAT settings.jpg

This may be a configuration error. Are you trying to use vlan 100 for outside interface? VLAN 100 is used for voice subnet. You may want to use interface fastethernet 0/0 (WAN) for outside interface.

of course im using FastEthernet0/0.

From a brand new config this is how the error is reproduced.

First delete all firewall settings

Second delete NAT settings

create a VLAN, say 50, create DHCP pool, etc

Make sure FastEthernet0/0 is DHCP

now go into NAT, and try anything that makes a change and requires saving...  BOOM  error

this is with CCA2.1

from the CLI I have NAT outside for FastEthernet0/0

Nat inside for the VLANs 1 and 50, but not the BVIs (maybe thats an issue)

I also have attempted doing the "VLAN database" and recreating the vlan.dat

so I can ping from the FastEthernet0/0 to outside, but can not ping the outside from any other interface (vlan)

Let me run this scenario by the CCA engineering team.

problem is resolved in CCA 2.1.1   !!!!!!!

thanks for the good news!!!!!
