Unanswered Question

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to upgrade the Pix 515 memory to 256mb. I searched on line and found there is not option to upgrade to 256mb. Can someone please confirm this?

Also during search I found people saying using 3rd parties Ram, pix 515 can upgrade to 256mb. Can anyone confirm this please?

I have this problem too.

You can upgrade to maximum of 128 MB of RAM on PIX-515E with Unrestricted license.

Haven't tried it and I wont suggest to go for 3rd party RAM.

I can say that you can upgrade the Pix515 to 256MB RAM. The RAM type that the Pix uses is the SDRAM PC100 that you will find typically on a Dell Optiplex 110.

TAC support is another matter.

I've upgraded to 512 MB PC133, using 2 256 sticks without issue. Both slots must be filled, though.

You mean I can actually buy SDRAM like for my desktop PC and Place it in the PIX 515e and it works? That should be music to my ears!! Please confirm
