ASA accessories

Hi,

I am going to deploy an ASA in my network and was wondering what are the accessories I need to order with it ?

-management software ?

-VPN client software for pcs?(do i need it ? and what role it has and how many do I need ? )

No. The number of remote access VPN sessions you have is lmited on the hardware you go for. for eaxmple ASA 5505 Security Plus license you have have 25 remote access VPN sessions, ASA 5510 you can have 250 and lots more sessions on higher models..

The ASDM (Management sofwware ) and vpn client comes with the ASA when you make a purchase...

You will need decide what model to go for depending on your throughput requirement. see url below. Also if you need high availability to have a pair of ASAs in redundancy (active/standby or active/active) you need to purchase correct license.

Also the url contains Ordering Information section based on your requirement you can get part number for the model including license information, Interface Expansion Cards and Security Services Modules
