Spam hits 97%

Hi,

Spam hitting 97% observed from 1 week and it is at regular intervals. my domain is xyz.com.

All these mails have sender address (from:) mail.xyz.com and receipt to unknown mail ID's.

WEA is dropping the messages at gateway level. but i want that mails should not hit my IRONPORT box at all.

Note: All mails have source DNS same and Sender IP address varies.

Help me in reducing the mails.

I have been fighting this was for years now. I started out with old school program that ran on a windows 2000 server box. That evolved into bigger windows box, and was supplemented with an outside service. Then we bought 2 IronPort boxes, and used them to replace the old dated program, and we found we no longer needed the outside service to keep the traffic off of our mail server. This is what IronPort does the best. Drops bad email. :D
