Hi guys, I have a cluster with 2 MCS-7816 servers running CUCM 7.1.

Now I have 480 IP Phones registered and I need to add 50 ip phones. If the capacity of the MCS-7816 is 500 seats, it means that the ip phone 501 will be rejected with the system???

Thanks for the info guys.

No, if you have DLUs you can configure them. The enforcement doesn't go that far that it will count the phones.

BUT if you run into any issue, and TAC determines that is has to do with CPU/RAM load since you're over the 500 you lose support.

Since you're going over the documented limit from SRND, TAC has the right to deny support if they determine the issue has to do with the server having over 500 phones.

David,

Have you noticed any strain on the system itself? CPU, RAM? I also have 2 7816s, 3 gig ram and 160 + 80 gig HD
