Original CP-7960 Phone Compatability with CUCM 7.x

I have approximately 100 of the original CP-7960 handsets (not the 7960G model) and am wondering if they are compatible with CUCM 7.x?

The compatability matrix shows the 7960Gs as compatible but no mention of the older 7960 model. These were the original handsets with the english labels on services buttons etc.

If anyone has them and is running CUCM 7.x i would like to know!

They should work fine. Please describe any issue that you may have may be a result of mis configuration or need a patch etc.

They are the same thing, in fact G stands for Global were the labels are adhesive.

Do you know why they have gone end of life and are no longer supported then?

The 7960G is listed as the replacement part?

You would not have thought the fact they have english labels would mean they are not supported any longer??
