Hello I installed the latest device pack in a callmanager 5.1 cluster. I am having problems with the ip phone getting the new firmware ("tftp auth fail") and I wish to install a device pack older than that; How can I make a downgrade of the device pack?

There is no downgrade or uninstall concept right now on linux appliances. You can install an older FW for the phones you have and change the device defaults to use it.

Thanks for your help. When do I change the device defaults, before or after rebooting the ucm once I have installed the older device package?

1st of all, unless you install a device package to provide support for a new model there is no reason to reboot. That's explained in documentation.

What you need to do is install an older firmware, NOT a device package.
