SFP port protection

Hi There,

is there any kind of SFP port protection when there is no SFP connected to the port ?

I'm worry about creating some damage to does ports because they're open...

You can use port dust cover plugs to protect them.

Hi Andrei,

Take the SFP module out of the appliance and put it into a non-static bag.

This will prevent any physical damage or theft ... or a phenomenon called "e-bay". ;)
