Solved: 4507R Sup2+ GBIC

When running redundant sups, sup 2+ in our case, is it possible to utilize all 4 GBIC slots? Right now we are only able to use 1/1 and 2/1.

i receive this error when trying to edit one of the 1/2 and 2/2 ports.

% WARNING: Interface GigabitEthernet1/2 is usable/operational

% only when this is the only supervisor present.

Is there a way to get all 4 active?

Unfortunately not. Only two of the four can be used at any given time. Please see the supII+ datasheet. Look at the active redundant supervisor engine uplinks section of the chart.
