One of my firewalls is pouring log files to a server. The file size keeps on increasing as time passes(at times near 12GB), after which it takes ages to open & review the information.
Is there a way that the log files generated are stored in a daily format, with each file storing logs for a 24hr period.( i do remember having worked on something like this, but dont know how to set this).
Kindly advise.
Thanks!

What sort of server is it? If Linux, google logrotate and set that up

Don't know of any native tools for this. You might have to look at scripting for this.
