Hi,
In Juniper OS if I do "ip ro" then I press <tab>, the command automatically the complete command appears as "ip route". How can I do that in Cisco IOS?

It's the same in Cisco IOS.
The problem with 'ip ro' and tab is that there are multiple options.
Rack1R1(config)#ip ro?
route routing
So how the router will know which to choose on a tab?
Now, if you type
Rack1R1(config)#ip routi
Rack1R1(config)#ip routing
The second line was completed with the tab as there is only one option for 'ip routi'.

Marlon,
You mean space bar or the tab key?
In JUNOS, when you type sh and press the space bar key, it will complete the command for you. Now, you can do the same thing with the tab key, but why would you want do that when space bar can easily do for you.
As for Cisco IOS, the space bar does NOT complete the command and if you want to completed the command you have to use the tab key

Hi Marlon.
Either it has been an ambiguous command as described by Edison, or it would have been a veeeeeeeeeery old IOS :-)

Enterasys also completes a command with the use of the spacebar.
