CUCCX Integration with CUCM 7.0

We are not able to register CTI port & CTI Route point (created via CCX). We don't have idea about rm cm user also. Any configuration example will be appriacable for the same.

The jtapi application user is used by CCX to register the CTI Route Point and Ports. The rmcm user is used by CCX to control agent IP Phones. The CCX AXL account is used to modify the UCM database and insert CTI devices.

If you are having difficulties I would recommend opening a TAC case so they can guide you through fixing it. The CCX installation guide needs to be followed to the letter for the system to initialize properly.

There are a lot of steps involved in getting it to work.

AXL account must be created

jtapi downloaded from CUCM UCCX.

copied from windows to c:\winnt (java)

Login into UCCX

run through the first time setup

Add in CUCM servers

It should go and create all the accounts and CTIs for you based upon your triggers and scripts/applications. When you resycn the telephony settings jtapi, etc it will verify all the ports are created, etc.

By default, the system does not create any ctis. You have to create an app, script, trigger, then UCCX will create the ports and routes.

Thank You very much for your reply. The issue has been resolved after restart the CTI Manager service in CUCM.
