Dear all,

I am using URL filter by regex on my ASA 5510 version (7.2).

It is working well, but, with a bug.

The bug: is that any attachment in hotmail account only can't be accessed or downloaded, but, i aloow a certain ip to not to be affected by this regex, this ip will be able to access or download the attachment on the hotmail account.

Plaese, advice regarding the matter.

What is the config that you have in place?

Elaborate a little on the config and what is blocked.

Please, find attached the regex configuration which i used.

hotmail attachment download is blocked even i didn't filter the hotmail or its URL any where.

What if you remove the "protocol-violation action drop-connection".

Does it block hotmail only if you have it in the regex only then?
