Can anyone explain what the purpose of the Internal cross-connect ports on Nexus 5010 or 5020, I can't find it on any of the docs.
Thanks,
Roger.

Found the answer in the following presentation from Cisco Live:
ftp://ftp.ics.kiev.ua/pub/Cisco/Cisco%20Live%202010/BRKARC-3452.pdf
In short, "Ports L1 and L2 are reserved for use with 'Unified Computing System' Fabric Interconnects", as the Nexus 5010/5020 share a common hardware platform with the UCS 6120/6140XP. These ports are therefore not enabled.
The mgmt1 interface is also not enabled.
Best regards,

cisco tells me that mgmt 1 will be enabled in a future NXOS release
