RSPAN between 6500 and 3750

I am sure someone have implemented this earlier and come across this issue. I have 6500 and 3750 connected via trunk. I configured following for my RSPAN sesssion.

On 6500:

vlan 800

remote-span

monitor session 3 source interface f7/1, f8/31, Fa7/46

monitor session 3 destination interface vlan 800

On 3750

monitor session 3 source remote vlan 800

monitor session 3 destination interface FastEthernet1/0/10

As you can predict my sniffer is connected on f1/0/10 port of 3750. Issue is as soon as I define 'monitor session 3 destination interface FastEthernet1/0/10' on 3750, it will disable that port and my sniffer no longer connect to the network(can't connect with default gateway).

What am I missing here?

Found answer of this silly question. It's RSPAN behaviour to put destination monitor port into up/down(monitor) state.

Yes you are correct and your sniffer should still receive the data.
