I just installed a SPA9000 w/SPA400 (2 PSTN lines and VM on 1 SPA400)
I need to figure out how to do the following changes:
I currently have speed dial set up on the last 2 buttons to 2 seperate extensions. I need to set up the sequence to initiate the *96 page automatically. what to I enter and where in the string?
I also need to remove the feature to dial 9 to dial out. what do I enter or remove from the dial plan?
any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

edit the speed dial button with "pagegroup" entered instead of a number
give me an example of your dialplan

Chrissy3710,
Thank you for visiting Cisco Community Forums.
For information on removing the '9' when dialing, look to the call routing rule and dial plan. Here is some documentation you may find very useful: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10031/index.html

Thank you Jeff! I am following the pattern for having to dial a number to designate a line out however what if I need to just have the phone pickup off hook and can dial out without having to first dial a 9 or any other number? Do I just remove the 9 or do I enter an x or is there something else?

Hi chrissy3710,
This thread should help you automatically insert whatever steering digit you choose: https://www.myciscocommunity.com/message/9608#9608
