Difference between Linksys One and UC500 options after dialing extension.

With the Linksys One, if someone calls and punches in an extension it would ring at that extension and that was the only option for the caller.  They could not transfer themselves back to the operator or transfer to another extension.

They also do not have the option to transfer to another extension if needed.  I’ve seen other phone systems do this.

How does the UC500 handle this?  What options will the caller have after they punch in an extension?

I have this problem too.

Assuming the internal user that is being called has a mailbox on the Unity Express module, there is a zero-out option available. If you log in to the web interface of CUE and look at the properties of the user's mailbox there is a box where you can input an extension number. While the caller is listening the voicemail greeting being played, they can press 0 to be transferred to the extension you define.

Hope this helps.
