Busy Trigger on UC520

Hi all,

I have a system UC520-32U-4BRI-K9 (PC8358) with Cisco IOS Software, UC500 Software (UC500-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(11)XW6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

I have some ephone-dn configured as dual-line.

How could I get a busy tone when one call is active in that directory number? Is it possible without loss options like call waiting option, call transfer and so on?

Thanks

Hi Raul,

Yes, the features of Dual-Line will still persist, like Transfer.

Cheers!

Hi Raul,

Because the DN's are set up as dual-line you need to add the following (huntstop channel command). Have a look;

The following example creates an ephone-dn with the number 103 in dual-line mode. The no huntstop command allows calls to continue to hunt to other ephone-dns if this one is busy or does not answer. The huntstop channel command disables call hunting to the second channel of this ephone-dn if the first channel is busy or does not answer.

Router(config)# ephone-dn 10 dual-line

Router(config-ephone-dn)# number 103

Router(config-ephone-dn)# no huntstop

Router(config-ephone-dn)# huntstop channel

Router(config-ephone-dn)# exit

Hope this helps!

Rob

Rob,

Thank you for your quick response,

I'll try it with my customer.

Only for being sure, with this command in the ephone-dn, this directory number is able to apply a call tranfer?

Regards
