Hi,

Im planning to build a network using the 5508 and 1252. The switches delivers 802.11af.

i will only use 2.4GHz using B/G/N.

Will i get full power and full functionality on one radio?

Will there be any other problems with this setup?

You can get full 802.11n data rates with 802.3af power if you only have one radio installed in the AP or if you disable one of the radios on the AP. If you have both radios enabled the AP will only allow some of the MCS rates with af power.

Because you will be using the new 6.X firmware, you can have both radio modules enabled when the AP is using standard PoE (15.4 watts) but at a lower MCS rate.
