Any solution for this?

All,

I've asked this before, but I think I abandoned the post for whatever reason.

I have a single DS3 circuit that comes into our datacenter. This circuit connects to a 3745. I've been asked if there's ANYTHING on the market that would allow us to connect the DS3 circuit into, and then connect TWO 3745s into that device so that we can have redundancy for the routers only. Is there any company out there that makes something like this. I've searched around on Google, but I don't think I'm looking for WAN Optimization or Load Balancing.

Thanks!

John

You would need a remote-controlled dual-coax switch. Check blackbox or ham radio stores.

Considering it's kind of exotic and awkward, most sites are ok with manually switching cables in the event of a router failure, that is statistically much rarer than circuit failure.
